Amsterdam!

Here we are, walking downtown, fresh off the plane, and train.  It's true what they say about the 'dam.. bikes everywhere!

This is some graffiti I spotted during our walk.. kind of cool to see the mixed media style of the first one, as graffiti here (as far as I've seen) is usually one format or another.  The cat in the second picture is cool too.  I usually don't like cats, but that one is so chill that I can't complain.

This is a shopping mall.  wtf!  Scarborough Town Centre eat your heart out!

These are some of the waterways  going through the city.  In the first picture, you have a classic test scenario when navigating the waterways of Amsterdam - always remember that swans have the right of way.

Here's another waterway, this time going through the red light district, in case the 'Moulin Rouge' sign didn't tip you off.  Notice how it's impossible to take a picture without a freakin bike in it!

The thing about commuting with boats is that you can't slash someone's tires if they piss you off.  Luckily, there is another solution.

Judging by the smiles (and taking into account they've come off an 8+ hour flight), Patrick and Amy approve of Amsterdam!
